Shane is a villager in Stardew Valley who lives at JojaMart and is known for his grumpy demeanor. He works as a stock clerk at JojaMart and is one of the twelve marriage candidates available to the player. Shane has a passion for chickens and dreams of one day owning a farm, but struggles with personal issues, including his battle with depression.

Shane’s schedule changes based on the season and weather. Here is his general routine:

Morning: Works at JojaMart
Afternoons: Often found at the saloon during summer
Sundays: Can be seen at the egg festival
Rainy Days: Usually stays indoors

💍 Marriage

Shane is available for marriage once the player reaches 10 hearts and gives him a Mermaid’s Pendant. After marriage, he moves into the farmhouse and adds a small room for his chickens. He helps on the farm occasionally and provides his spouse with the option to cook fried eel.
