🍶 Cask

The Cask is a special artisan equipment item in Stardew Valley. It is used to age artisan goods, improving their quality and increasing their value. Casks are only available after upgrading the farmhouse cellar and can only be placed in the cellar.

✨ Uses

Ages Wine, Cheese, Goat Cheese, Beer, Pale Ale, and Mead
Improves product quality from Silver → Gold → Iridium
Higher quality significantly boosts selling prices

📦 Acquisition

Unlocked by upgrading the Farmhouse to include a Cellar (cost: 100,000g + 100 Hardwood)
20 Casks are provided automatically inside the Cellar
Additional Casks can be crafted: 20 Wood, 1 Hardwood

Aging Wine (especially Ancient Fruit and Starfruit Wine) to Iridium quality provides the highest profits in the game.
Cheese and Goat Cheese age quickly, making them a steady source of Gold/Iridium quality goods.
Fill your cellar with as many Casks as possible — every inch of space can hold one.
Organize by product type or aging stage to manage the long waiting times efficiently.
