🍵 Tea Bush

The Tea Bush is a special type of crop/tree hybrid in Stardew Valley. It grows from a Tea Sapling and, once matured, produces Tea Leaves every day during the last week of Spring, Summer, and Fall. Unlike fruit trees, Tea Bushes do not need watering, and they remain indefinitely once planted.

⏱ Growth & Seasons

• Growth Time: 20 days (from Tea Sapling to mature bush)
• Harvest Window: Produces daily from the 22nd–28th of Spring, Summer, and Fall
• Environment: Can be planted outdoors, in the Greenhouse, or on Ginger Island
• Regrowth: Stays planted permanently and does not need to be replanted each year

📦 Acquisition

• Grown from a Tea Sapling
• Tea Sapling can be crafted (2 Wild Seeds, 5 Fiber, 5 Wood)
• Caroline sends a recipe for Tea Sapling after reaching two hearts friendship
• Occasionally sold at the Traveling Cart

📦 Uses

• Produces Tea Leaves during the last week of each season (except Winter)
• Tea Leaves can be consumed, cooked, or processed
• Processing Tea Leaves in a Keg makes Green Tea
• Green Tea is required for the Community Center (Exotic Foraging Bundle, remixed)
• Green Tea is also a universally liked gift

💡 Strategy

• A low-maintenance crop — no watering or seasonal replanting required.
• Great way to earn extra income late each season.
• Green Tea sells well and is also a safe gift option for most villagers.
