🌧 Rain Totem

The Rain Totem is a Totem in Stardew Valley. When consumed, it guarantees rainy weather the following day (except in Winter). Like other totems, it is single-use and is consumed upon activation.

This is especially useful for watering crops automatically, filling fish ponds, and triggering rain-dependent events such as the Mermaid Show or certain Heart Events.

📦 Acquisition

Crafted with 1 Hardwood, 1 Truffle Oil, and 5 Pine Tar.
The crafting recipe is unlocked at Foraging Level 9.
Occasionally available from the Traveling Cart.
Can rarely appear as loot or special drops.

⚙️ Usage

Consume to guarantee rain on the next day (except in Winter).
Single-use item — consumed immediately when activated.
Does not affect scripted festival days or other fixed weather days.

Pro Tip: Use a Rain Totem before trying to catch the Legendary Fish that only appear on rainy days.

Great for skipping watering crops early in the game (when sprinklers aren’t available yet).
