๐ถ Mead
Mead is an Artisan Good in Stardew Valley, produced by placing Honey into a Keg. It is one of the alcoholic drinks available in the game, alongside Beer, Pale Ale, and Wine.
Mead takes 1–2 days to brew. Its base selling price is 200g, regardless of the type of Honey used.
๐ฆ Uses
- Sold for profit (value doesn’t scale with flower type like Honey does).
- Gift: Neutral for most villagers, disliked by some.
- Required for the Artisan Bundle in the Pantry (Community Center).

๐ก Strategy
Pro Tip: Turning Fairy Rose Honey into Mead is usually a waste — Fairy Rose Honey sells for far more on its own.
- Best used with Wild Honey, since its base price is low (100g) and Mead doubles the profit.
- Avoid using flower Honey types (Tulip, Jazz, Poppy, Fairy Rose) for Mead, since they lose value compared to selling as Honey.
- Mead can be aged in Casks to increase quality up to Iridium (400g).
- Combine with the Artisan profession (+40% value) for maximum profit (up to 560g Iridium Mead).
