👶 Having Children

In Stardew Valley, players have the opportunity to expand their family by having children. This guide covers the steps and requirements for having children with your spouse.

💑 Requirements

Be married to a spouse.
Have upgraded the Farmhouse twice.
Ensure the nursery is available.

🌜 Process

Once the requirements are met, your spouse will occasionally ask if you want to have a child. You can choose to say 'yes' or 'no'. If you agree, the child will appear in the nursery after 14 days.

👶 Child Stages

Newborn: The child will initially be a baby and stay in the crib.
Crawling: After 14 days, the child will start crawling.
Walking: Eventually, the child will grow into a toddler and walk around the house.

Players can have up to two children in the game. The gender of the child is randomly assigned, and the second child will always be the opposite gender of the first.
