🌳 Giant Stump

The Giant Stump is a large stump that appears in the northern part of Cindersap Forest, west of Marnie’s Ranch. It becomes central to a questline where the player helps a family of Raccoons, eventually unlocking a barter-based shop.

Once repaired with Hardwood, the stump becomes home to the Raccoon family. Completing their requests unlocks the Raccoon Wife’s Shop, where players can trade items for rare rewards.

🗝 Unlock & Shop Mechanics

Triggered by a windstorm that knocks down a giant tree in Cindersap Forest.
Repair the stump by donating 100 Hardwood.
Complete a series of 9 requests (each 7 days apart) from the Raccoon to fully unlock the shop.

🛒 Raccoon Wife’s Shop (Barter-Based)

The Raccoon Wife’s shop does not use gold. Instead, trades are made using items. Examples include:

Carrot / Summer Squash / Broccoli / Powdermelon Seeds
Raccoon Journal
Raccoon Hat
Fairy Dust
Jungle Tank

Keep 100 Hardwood ready to repair the stump quickly after the event.
Check back weekly to complete Raccoon requests and unlock new trades.
The shop is the only source for certain seeds and decorative items.
Completing all 9 requests earns the “Good Neighbors” achievement.
