⚒️ Blacksmith
The Blacksmith is a shop and service building in Stardew Valley, operated by Clint.
It is located in the eastern part of Pelican Town, just across the bridge from the Museum.
The Blacksmith provides essential services, including tool upgrades, ore processing, and geode breaking.
Players will frequently visit Clint for upgrading tools to higher tiers, smelting ore products, and opening geodes for minerals.
🕒 Hours & Location
- Open: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Closed: Friday (when Clint attends the saloon early) and festival days
- Location: East Pelican Town, across the river from the Museum
⚙ Services
- Tool Upgrades — Upgrade basic tools (Axe, Pickaxe, Hoe, Watering Can, Trash Can) to Copper, Steel, Gold, or Iridium versions
- Geode Processing — Breaks open geodes (25g each) to reveal ores, minerals, and gems
- Ore Processing — Transmutes Copper, Iron, and Gold ores into bars (with coal)
🔼 Tool Upgrades
Each upgrade requires 5 metal bars of the respective type and gold. Tools take 2 in-game days to upgrade.

💡 Tips & Strategies
- Plan upgrades in Winter or rainy days to avoid losing valuable farming time
- Always bring multiple geodes at once to save trips
- Upgrade the Watering Can just before rainy days for minimal downtime
- Iridium upgrades are expensive but provide the best efficiency
