🍺 Tipsy Buff

The Tipsy Buff is a negative status effect in Stardew Valley that reduces the player’s Speed. It is applied when the player consumes alcoholic beverages such as Beer, Wine, Pale Ale, or Mead. While active, movement speed is decreased, making travel and combat more difficult.

Unlike other buffs, Tipsy is a debuff and does not provide any benefits. It is shown with a small beer mug icon under the player portrait when active.

  • Reduces Speed by 1
  • Duration: 30 in-game minutes per drink
  • Stacks with multiple drinks, extending duration
  • Displayed as a beer mug icon under the portrait
