⚒ Quarry Mine

The Quarry Mine is a small dungeon located next to the Quarry in the Mountain region of Stardew Valley. Unlike the open Quarry, this mine contains combat, randomized layouts, and a powerful reward. It is most notable as the location of the Golden Scythe, a special tool upgrade hidden deep inside.

📍 Access

• Entrance is found inside the Quarry, up a small path to the northwest.
• Unlocked at the same time as the Quarry (after repairing the bridge via Community Center or Joja route).
• Open at all times once accessible.

🌟 Features

• Dungeon-like area with monster spawns, unlike the main Quarry.
• Contains stone, ore, and special node spawns.
• Enemies include Dust Sprites, Slimes, Skeletons, and occasionally special monsters.
• Main reward is the Golden Scythe, obtained from a statue at the end of the mine.

🌾 Golden Scythe

At the end of the Quarry Mine stands a reaper statue. Interacting with it grants the Golden Scythe, a unique tool upgrade. It has a larger harvest radius and higher efficiency compared to the standard Scythe, making it valuable for clearing grass and crops.

💡 Strategy

• Clear enemies cautiously to avoid being overwhelmed in tight spaces.
• Grab the Golden Scythe as soon as possible — its wide swing is extremely useful on the farm.
• Use bombs to clear large clusters of rocks quickly for ore and geodes.
• Revisit occasionally for ores, but focus mainly on the reward.
