Scythes in Stardew Valley are tools used to harvest grass, forageables, and crops such as wheat or kale. They are also needed to collect hay when cutting grass on the farm if a silo is built. An upgraded version, the Golden Scythe, provides a larger cutting radius and increased hay yield.
