Axes in Stardew Valley are tools used to chop trees, stumps, and logs for wood and hardwood. They can also clear weeds and small debris. Upgrading the axe at the Blacksmith with metal bars increases its efficiency and allows it to break larger obstacles, unlocking access to new areas and resources.
