The Staircase is a Crafting Item in Stardew Valley. This useful item allows players to construct a ladder that leads down to the next floor in both the Mines and Skull Cavern.

However, Staircases cannot be placed on floors 0 or 120 of the mines, as well as in the Quarry Mine or Volcano Dungeon.

• Crafted with 99 Stone and 4 Wood.
• The crafting recipe is available from the beginning of the game.
• Staircases can also be found occasionally in treasure rooms in the mines.
