The Special Black Slime is a rare and dangerous variant of the standard Black Slime in Stardew Valley. It appears in the Dangerous Mines (enabled during Mr. Qi’s Challenge) and sometimes in late-game areas like the Quarry Mine. This variant is significantly stronger than normal slimes, with boosted stats and more valuable loot.

Special Black Slimes behave like other slime types by hopping toward the player and inflicting contact damage. Their dark appearance and high durability make them one of the more intimidating slime encounters.
