📚 Island Field Office

The Island Field Office is a research outpost on Ginger Island in Stardew Valley. It is run by Professor Snail, who tasks the player with recovering fossils and other specimens to complete his collection. Donating items to the Field Office unlocks rewards and contributes to Ginger Island exploration and lore.

📍 Access

• Located on the north side of Ginger Island, across the river.
• Initially blocked — Professor Snail must be rescued from a cave on the island by using bombs or a cherry bomb to clear debris.
• After freeing him, the Field Office becomes active and donation quests begin.

🦴 Donations

The Field Office requires the player to donate fossil pieces and other collectibles to complete its displays. These are found by digging Artifact Spots, breaking Bone Nodes, fishing Treasure Chests, and defeating island monsters.
