The Dark Shrine of Selfishness is one of the three magical shrines found inside the Witch’s Hut in Stardew Valley. It allows the player to remove their children from the farmhouse by turning them into doves that fly away permanently. This action cannot be undone and is considered one of the darkest magical choices in the game. To activate the shrine, the player must offer one Prismatic Shard.

📍 Location

Found inside the Witch’s Hut, located north of Cindersap Forest.
The hut becomes accessible after completing the “Dark Talisman” quest.
The shrine is one of the three within the Witch’s Hut interior.

✨ Function

Removes the player’s children from the farmhouse.
Children are transformed into white doves and permanently leave.
Cannot be undone — once used, the children are gone forever.
Requires one Prismatic Shard to activate.
