๐ค Dark Shrine of Selfishness
The Dark Shrine of Selfishness is one of the three magical shrines found inside the Witch’s Hut in Stardew Valley. It allows the player to remove their children from the farmhouse by turning them into doves that fly away permanently. This action cannot be undone and is considered one of the darkest magical choices in the game. To activate the shrine, the player must offer one Prismatic Shard.

Pro Tip: Use the shrine only if you are certain — it permanently removes children and cannot be reversed.
This can be helpful if you want to remarry without children present, but it is a permanent choice.
- Save a Prismatic Shard specifically if you plan to use this shrine, as they are rare and valuable.
- Consider using the Dark Shrine of Memory if your goal is to reset marriage history instead of removing children.
- This shrine is not required for gameplay progression and is purely optional.
